One restoration,
in 60 seconds.

A full renovation from start to finish, filmed on site:

  • Sanding with a mechanical nylon brush, 80 grit: the greyed wood comes off without gouging the board.
  • Details & vertical faces with a random-orbit sander and an edge sander fitted with a nylon brush.
  • Full cleaning and dusting between sanding and finishing.
  • Adjacent surfaces masked (walls, copings, glazing) before application.
  • Two coats of sealer applied by block brush for deep penetration into the wood.

We repair before we rebuild.

A wobbly, sagging deck — or one that traps water — is not beyond saving. From boards and fixings to pedestals and joists, we repair only what needs attention before sanding the whole deck.

01

Re-levelling

Sagging deck brought back to level: water no longer pools.

02

Joists

Replaced without rebuilding the whole structure.

03

Pedestals

Added to stiffen the deck where it flexes.

04

Waterproofing

A strip on every joist: the structure stops soaking up water.

05

Boards

Replaced, then blended into the rest by sanding.

We keep an eye on it.

A deck exposed to full sun, sea spray or pool water changes quickly. We begin with a complete restoration, then maintain the result every 8 to 12 months according to exposure.

Initial deck restoration

  1. Inspection of boards, fixings, pedestals and joists.
  2. Repairs only where they are needed.
  3. Mechanical sanding or brushing suited to the condition of the wood.
  4. Thorough cleaning and dust removal.
  5. Walls, low walls, glazing, pool copings and nearby surfaces carefully masked.
  6. Decking oil application: it penetrates the wood, reduces water absorption and helps preserve its stability and appearance against greying.

The result: a clean, even and protected deck, without unnecessary replacement.

Maintenance every 8 to 12 months

  1. Inspection of the wood and the existing decking oil.
  2. Thorough cleaning, or brightening only where the wood needs it.
  3. Walls, low walls, glazing, pool copings and nearby surfaces carefully masked.
  4. Decking oil renewed before the wood begins to deteriorate again.
  5. Frequency adjusted for sun exposure, sea spray and proximity to a pool.

Maintenance extends the restoration result before the deck greys or becomes damaged again.
